ABOUT ARNETT & ASSOCIATES
Established by Kenneth R. Arnett, PLS in 1988, Arnett & Associates has played a significant role in the development around Lake Tahoe. As a small family business, we take pride in serving Tahoe’s private land owners, businesses and government agencies by providing the best land surveying value in the area.

Prior to the founding Arnett & Associates, Inc., Ken was employed as a land surveyor by both private companies and public agencies. His work included Surveying, mapping and construction layout for residential, municipal and commercial projects in southern California as well as the Lake Tahoe region and Incline Village, Nevada. His extensive experience in Land Surveying includes land development, redevelopment, Subdivisions and Condominium projects, as well as TRPA regulated residential construction. Ken has been involved on the Land Surveying profession for over 45 years and a registered Professional Land Surveyor in California since 1988 and in the State of Nevada since 1987. Professional affiliations include the California Land Surveyors Association, Nevada Land Surveyors Association and the National Society of Professional Surveyors.
Jesse D. Thornton, PLS
Chief of Surveys/ Senior CAD Mapping Specialist
Jesse has been an integral part of Arnett & Associates for over 25 years and is a practicing field Surveyor, Chief of Party and CAD mapping specialist charged with mission planning, implementation of field data collection, staking and layout of construction as well as CAD mapping. His expertise includes managing field operations, CAD software and technology advancement, production of Boundary, Topographic and TRPA site mapping.
